MODES

Air

IWT is licensed by IATA and operates from the industry’s most extensive and comprehensive airfreight distribution network. We have agencies in all major markets and manage all local chartering, transportation and documentation requirements.

Sea

IWT is a leading Irish provider of European and global deep-sea Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) services. We procure guaranteed, competitively priced capacity with all leading shipping lines.

Road

IWT operates a top-of-the-range fleet of vehicles equipped with GPS tracking. All drivers are highly skilled and ADR trained for the carriage of dangerous goods in both bulk and containerised transport.

Rail

IWT operates the only container rail service to and from Dublin port. We bring the port closer to the customer, linking the whole island of Ireland to international markets. IWT works closely with Irish Rail in the operation of this service.

Warehousing

IWT provides handling, storage and distribution facilities in locations across Ireland and Europe. These facilities are fully integrated into our customers' wider supply chain supporting cost-efficient and streamlined logistics and distribution.

IWT Rail Service

By creating this service, IWT reduces Co2 emissions by 5500 tonnes per annum. It removes 11,000 trucks from Irish roads annually resulting in a saving of 11 million road kilometres. IWT saves 75% of Co2 emissions with every unit we rail rather than transport by road. We are continuously working on our ESG requirements with sustainability being one of our six cornerstone objectives.
